Stopped Smoking But Can’t Stop Eating

I know, I know, it sounds like a contradiction but it’s possible. One of the big things we want to be able to do is stop the cravings. Sometimes, it can just be a cravings. One of the reasons I do it is because it’s the easiest thing to do.

I’ve tried to really make the cravings go away for myself. In the past, I’ve had a lot of trouble with cravings and I was always so worried about making sure I was still doing everything I was supposed to do. I know that’s important for me to be doing, so I try to make sure I’m doing that. With that in mind, I try to do it and not have those cravings.

I don’t know if you can stop smoking without quitting eating, but that’s something you should be able to do.

I know that you have to do it to do it, and I just want to help you do it.

The other thing that’s a little different is that some patients might be able to do it, but not all of them. So I always try to check in with the patient to make sure they’re able to do it.

I know it’s very difficult, but I think it’s worth it.

The biggest thing I tell my patients is that the biggest part of it is that it’s temporary. It’s not going to be permanent. The biggest part of it is that it’s going to be really short term.

And that’s the good news.

The hardest part is just doing it.

The second hardest part is just not having the cravings.

The third hardest part is just not having the cravings, but having the weight gain.

The fourth hardest part is just not having the weight gain, but having the depression.

The fifth hardest part is just not having the depression, but having the anxiety.

The sixth hardest part is just not having the anxiety, but having the stress.

The seventh hardest part is just not having the stress, but having the sleep issues.

The eighth hardest part is just not having the sleep issues, but having the anxiety.

The ninth hardest part is just not having the anxiety, but having the insomnia.

The tenth hardest part is just not having the insomnia, but having the depression.

The eleventh hardest part is just not having the depression, but having the fatigue.

The twelfth hardest part is just not having the fatigue, but having the anxiety.

The thirteenth hardest part is just not having the anxiety, but having the anger.

The fourteenth hardest part is just not having the anger, but having the confusion.

The fifteenth hardest part is just not having the confusion, but having the pain.

The sixteenth hardest part is just not having the pain, but having the weakness.

The seventeenth hardest part is just not having the weakness, but having the fear.

The eighteenth hardest part is just not having the fear, but having the sadness.

The nineteenth hardest part is just not having the sadness, but having the stress.

The twentieth hardest part is just not having the stress, but having the anxiety.

The twenty-first hardest part is just not having the anxiety, but having the depression.

So what I think we’ve learned is that it’s really hard, but it’s worth it.

So how do we do it?

Well, you know, there is just some things I tell my patients that really help and they can keep doing it.

The first thing I tell them is that it’s just something you have to do.

The second thing I tell them is that you don’t have to do it everyday.

And the third thing I tell them is that it’s going to be really, really short term.

And the fourth thing I tell them is that you have to keep doing it because it’s something you need to do.

What else do we try to do?

You know, I think we try to keep doing it, and I think that’s probably the most important thing, is that you know, keep doing it. If you stop, you start over again. So keep doing it. Even if you’re having a bad day, just keep doing it. And it’s going to be really short term, so don’t stress about it.

Can you get back to your normal life after quitting smoking or eating?

Absolutely. I think it’s important to have that time in between.

The worst thing that could happen is that you get back to your normal routine, but that’s okay. So that’s something to keep in mind.

What is the best way to quit smoking, or how can we get rid of our cravings?
